As we always say, we truly do have the most amazing clients.

Though we love getting to be creative every day, it's you guys that really inspire us with your vision and project ideas.
You challenge us and keep us on our toes, which is awesome because it keeps us current with different techniques and styles!

A really awesome returning customer recently moved and asked if we would do some industrial stools for her new place. I was so excited and jumped at the chance to work on this as her style is basically identical to my own.
This makes it extra fun!

She explained that she had ordered six industrial stools and wanted them each in a different colour.
This is such a modern way to add some "pop" and cheeriness to your decor and has been in every decorating magazine for a few months now. I absolutely LOVE this idea.

Here are the stools she sent me:

She chose the most gorgeous, cheery, saturated hues!

They were tricky to "airbrush", but turned out really well!

I'm so in love with these stools!
I want to redo our own home decor just to make colourful stools work!

We can't wait to see pictures of these in her new home!!!!

shab to chic!

Happy Friday, Everyone!

I know my posts have been less frequent this week, but I have been crazy busy with some very exciting new pieces!

So, for my wonderful followers, I have a cute little redo to makeup for it and hold you over until the upcoming reveal!

This little chair was headed for the trash and I just thought she was way too cute and had too much character to banish her to the garbage just yet..

I wasn't sure what to do with her...
No brilliant ideas came to mind right away.

This old gal needed to be sanded..and..sanded...and wood filled..and wood filled some more..

When I was finally happy with the repair work, I started the fun part.
I painted it in Annie Sloan's "Old White" and then decided to add a black seat for some contrast and pizazz..

I found a really awesome stencil and thought this would be the perfect project to try it out on!

So, with a lot of elbow grease, this old chair went from shab to fab! (I'm allowed to be cheesy, sheesh!)

And here's a close up of the stencil work..
(I think it's an address..in French...I really should have paid attention in that class..)

So there yah have it, folks! Not the most exciting transformation but hey, if I can save a piece from the dump, I feel I have accomplished something!

Here she is again, just because she's cute.

Have a great weekend!
