So I'm sure a lot of  you guys have already seen the whole fabulous, bright, airbrushed industrial stools post, right?

If you missed it (sigh), we took six  standard industrial stools and our wonderful client let us go to town, painting them in all the colours of the rainbow for the long counter in her galley-style kitchen!

mmm mmm yes, they were pretty little things indeed!

So, I'm not sure why I didn't post about it, but after we got the stools to their new home, our client let us know that she had got the wrong stools, for these ones were too high for her counter.

I felt bad for her, but thought it was a wee bit hilarious because it is the kind of thing I do on the daily...seriously. Pretty ideas are swimming along warp-speed in my head and silly things such as measurements aren't going to get in my way...
until they do..

Anyway, because this lady is slick, cool and laid back, she thought "Hey, my husband is wanting to create a bar space downstairs, so at some point in the future we will need stools for that anyway!". And boom, just like that, she turns an "oops" into a "I basically just killed two birds with one stone and am a super chill, considerate wife who is adding to my hubbies man-cave. You're welcome".
My hero.
*applause*

Within a day, she had found some appropriately sized stools and at a pretty decent price I might add.
(I feel it's always necessary to give a sister props for a solid find)

These ones were slightly different than the first batch and had a wooden seat.
I liked them.
A lot.
We took these cute but bland babies and turned them into this:

Same shades as before but we opted for the seafoam shade and dropped the red this time around.

Pretty
darn
cute.
