"Ahhhh, Sparrow Layne! Where have you been all my life?! I am absolutely in love with this little furniture restoration business! Everything the Sparrows recreate is not only beautiful but one of a kind! We moved into our home in July of 2014. Being the (slightly) impatient person I am (and ok maybe a bit of a perfectionist too), I had all brand new furniture ready to be put in place in their new home. It took months of visual planning and measuring to make sure all the new purchases would fit. Everything worked out perfectly, but I knew I was missing something! A credenza!! I have honestly searched high and low for the perfect piece for over a year. I was on the hunt for something original, rustic, not too big, not too small, not too short and not too tall!
I'm not honestly sure how I came across the Sparrow Layne page but it was truly meant to be! It was love at first sight! Completely our style! The piece I was after on the website was actually a bit too big so I just made sure to check back often. And, you know that saying "good things come to those who wait..."? Well, it's true! One day a lovely credenza was up for grabs and it was all mine!
I contacted Brittany at Sparrow Layne right away! The bonus, I got to pick out everything for this gem! Of course the pros helped guide me in the right direction. Brittany was so friendly and helpful! I explained the style of our home and colour scheme. I am currently in love with turquoise but since I already had a turqouise table, we decided on something more classic.
The credenza turned out to be absolutely stunning! A few days before pickup I was told there was a little surprise for me..and that it was! The Sparrows had taken the time to paint the inside of the credenza turqouise!!! Can you believe it! I was just over the moon! I am so thankful I came across this unique little company and would most definitely recommend them to anyone! The Sparrows and their furniture are absolutely full of class and charm!
